Brown & Sharpe Heavy Cast Iron Machine Tool Base Pump Mount

This is the base from a Brown & Sharpe Model 517 Hydraulic Pump.

It is not marked.

The pump was mounted to the small end and the motor was mounted to the large end.

It is really well made and I think can be used for many things other than a pump base.

The small end measures 8 in. square on top (not counting the curved edges below the top).

The large end measures 11 in. square on top.

The transitional area between the two areas is 2.5 in. deep.

The overall size of this base is 21.5 in. long x 14.5 in. deep x 2 in. thick.

It weighs 63.3 pounds

Condition: Used. Very limited oxidation and cosmetic marks to the top side. Underneath there is some surface rust.
